ผมชื่อ Bill Wiessing ผมปลูกอะโวคาโดครับ

ผมเริ่มปลูกอะโวคาโดเพราะอยากช่วยลุงบุกเบิกสวนผลไม้ที่เมือง Whangarei ผมเริ่มทำสวนเมื่อวันที่ 4 เมษายน 2547 นับจากนั้นผมก็ทำสวนมาตลอดครับ ผมรู้สึกว่าที่นี่เหมือนเป็นบ้านของผมไปแล้ว ผมอยากอยู่ที่นี่ตลอดไป

เรามีการผสมผสานที่ลงตัวของดินที่ระบายน้ำได้ดี ฝนตกชุก และสภาพอากาศที่เหมาะสม ทางตอนเหนือของนิวซีแลนด์เหมาะกับการเพาะปลูก เพราะฤดูร้อนมาถึงเร็วกว่าทางใต้ครับ

My name is Bill Wiessing and I’m an avocado grower.

I started in avocados by helping my uncle set up his orchard down in Whangarei and from there I started on this property on the 4th of April 2004… and I’ve been here ever since. This really does feel like home for me. It feels like where I want to spend my time, which is great.

We have a fantastic combination of very good, free draining soil. As well as high rainfall and very good weather. So, we get the benefit of summer almost starting earlier in this part of New Zealand than it does further south.
