ผมชื่อ Robert Jefferis ผมปลูกอะโวคาโดครับ

ย้อนกลับไปเมื่อปี 2541 ตอนที่เริ่มปลูกไม้ผล เราเริ่มปลูกกีวีก่อน ตามด้วยอะโวคาโด ตอนนั้นผมทำปศุสัตว์ไปด้วยเลยยุ่งมากครับ เมื่อวานนี้มีนักวิทยาศาสตร์หลายคนมาที่สวนของผม ทำให้ผมได้เรียนรู้เทคนิคดีๆ เรื่องการปลูกผลไม้

อย่างน้อยครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต ผมก็ได้ปลูกต้นไม้ให้โลกใบนี้ แถมยังให้ผลผลิตที่ดีอีกด้วย เราใส่ใจดูแลเพื่อให้ทุกคนได้ลิ้มรสผลไม้อร่อยๆ จากนิวซีแลนด์

ผมขอบอกว่านี่เป็นประสบการณ์ที่น่าตื่นเต้นมากครับ

I’m Robert Jefferis and I’m an avocado grower.

It started back in 1998, when we planted our first tree. Before avocados, we were growing kiwi fruit and I’ve got a few cattle to keep me busy too. In fact, I had a whole bunch of scientists at my place yesterday. Learning all kinds of things about the fruit.

Once upon a time I planted a tree in this earth, which grew to flower. We picked it with care and you my friends get to enjoy a little peace of New Zealand, right there in your fruit bowl.

Now that’s what I call an amazing adventure.
